No funeral services for Winfred Wayne Wilcox, 80, of Bainbridge, are planned at this time.

Born on Sept. 24, 1928, in West Chester, Pa., Mr. Wilcox died on Thursday, March 26, 2009, at Bainbridge Health Care.

Mr. Wilcox was a retired truck driver who had lived in Decatur County for the past seven months after moving from Gate Wood, Mo. He was of the Protestant Christian faith. Preceding Mr. Wilcox in death was his wife, Opal Stanaland.

Survivors include his three daughters, Sharon Schoen of Pennsylvania, Margaret Connolly of Logan, N.M., and Marie Sharpe of Bainbridge; a son, Keri Hammon of Alton, Mo.; three sisters, Phyllis Teyrell, Alice Reifinger and Marion Wilcox, all of Pennsylvania.; two brothers, Robert Wilcox of Pennsylvania and Howard Wilcox Sr. of Bainbridge; 15 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Cox-Ware Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
