Funeral services for Henry Nelson Bush of Bainbridge will be held on Saturday, March 7, at 11 a.m. at First African Baptist Church in West Bainbridge, with the Rev. J.C. Jackson officiating.

Interment will follow at Pine View Cemetery with Kenneth Close, Thomas Jackson III, Courtney Harris, Greg Washington, Greg Sparkman and Harrison Willford serving as pallbearers.

Born on April 6, 1951, in Miller County, Ga., Mr. Bush died on Monday, March 2, 2009, in Bainbridge.

He was a retiree and a member of First African Baptist Church. Preceding him in death was his mother, Helen Johnson Bush.

Survivors include his father, Jessie W. Bush; his wife, Emma Bush; a son, Ronnie Bush; four daughters, DelKasha Harris, Regina Angel, Qunta Bush and Varnyetta Porter, and nine grandchildren.

Bruton Mortuary is in charge of funeral arrangements.
