Wilford Tyler

Funeral services for Wilford Alford Tyler, 79, of Donalsonville, Ga., were held on Sunday, Feb. 15, in the chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home in Donalsonville with the Rev. Kirk Loyless officiating.
Interment followed in Corinth Cemetery in Iron City, Ga., with Buren Mock Jr., Carroll Miller, Jamie Williams, Larry Tyler, Jerry Coble and Wilton Albritton serving as pallbearers.
Mr. Tyler was born in Seminole County on Oct. 6, 1929. He died on Friday, Feb. 13, 2009, at his residence. He served in the U.S. Air Force and was a prominent farmer in Seminole County. He was a member of Friendship United Methodist Church and a member of the American Legion Post in Miller County.
He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Beth Tyler.
Survivors include his wife, Fay Tyler of Donalsonville, Ga.; two sons, Howard Tyler of Acworth, Ga., and Raleigh Tyler of Avon Park, Fla., and six grandchildren.
Evans-Skipper Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
