Funeral services for Annette Powell Knight, 71, of Bainbridge, were held Sunday, Feb. 8, at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Terry Chaney officiating.

Interment followed at West Bainbridge Cemetery.

Born Aug. 2, 1937, in Bainbridge, Mrs. Knight died Friday, Feb. 6, 2009, at her residence.

She owned and operated a bait and tackle store and was of the Protestant faith. She was preceded in death by her father, R.A. Powell; her husband, Bobby Harrell, and three brothers, Kenneth Powell, Douglas Powell and Larry Powell.

Survivors include four sons, Robert Stanley Harrell of Brinson, Ga., Charles Ray Harrell and Michael W. Harrell, both of Bainbridge, and Roger Harrell of Thomasville, Ga.; her mother, Jewell Addison Powell of Bainbridge; two brothers, Donel Powell and Steve Powell, both of Bainbridge; six sisters, Lajean Williamson and Phyllis Lane, both of Bainbridge, Elma Rae Faircloth of Brinson, Linda Braswell of Reynoldsville, Sandra Howell of Columbus, Ga., and Sherry Boyett of Ty Ty, Ga.; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Reynoldsville Church of God, 2164 Hwy. 253, Donalsonville, GA 39845.

Ivey Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
