Memorial services for Harold Dean Scott, 68, of Tallahassee, Fla., will be held Sunday, Nov. 30, at 2 p.m., at Harvey-Young Funeral Home in Crawfordville, Fla.

Mr. Scott was born in Bainbridge, Ga., and died Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2008, at his home.

He lived most of his life in the Bainbridge area. He was a Christian who loved his family, animals, his grandchildren and life in the Lord.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Rubin Scott Sr. and Nettie Mae Scott, and a sister, Miriam Moyer.

He is survived by his wife of 12 years, Norma Scott; three sons, Ronald Scott and his wife, Lori, of Chattahoochee, Fla., Randall Scott of Tampa and Craig Scott of Tallahassee; a daughter, Rhonda Hammond and her husband, Bret, of Tallahassee; three stepsons; one stepdaughter; four brothers, Rubin Scott Jr., Avery Scott, Donald Scott and Jeff Scott; a sister, Janie Bennett, and three grandsons and three granddaughters.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Big Bend Hospice, 1723 Mahan Center Blvd., Tallahassee, FL 32308.

Harvey-Young Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
