Funeral services for Callie Sue Lewis Kelley, 82, of Bainbridge, will be held Saturday, Nov. 29, at 3:30 p.m., at First Free Will Baptist Church with the Rev. Willie Dawson and David Grubbs officiating.
Interment will follow in West Bainbridge Cemetery with Bobby Grubbs, Jackie Grubbs, Alvin Bailey, Brian Parker, Tony Hamms, and David Harden serving as active pallbearers.
The family will receive friends tonight, Friday, from 7 to 8 p.m., at Ivey Funeral Home.
Mrs. Kelley was born in Early County, Ga., and died Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2008, at Memorial Manor Nursing Home.
She attended Early County High School and was a former nurse’s assistant at Miller County Hospital and seamstress at Georgia Factory for the Blind. She was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church, and was preceded in death by her husband, Chester Kelley.
Survivors include her son, Jake Lewis of Bainbridge; her daughter, Jeannie Giannars of Bainbridge; her sister, Mattie Grubbs Cato of Bainbridge; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Ivey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
