Funeral services for Sheila Yvonne Brown Griffin, 41, of Bainbridge, will be held Saturday, Nov. 8, at 1 p.m., at Rejoice Ministries Church (Junior Women’s Club, South Scott Street), with Brothers Delwood Inlow and Johnny Barnett officiating.

Visitation is scheduled immediately after the services.

Mrs. Griffin was born in Sylvester, Ga., and died Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2008, at Memorial Hospital in Bainbridge.

She lived in Bainbridge two months, moving from Tallahassee, Fla. She was a waitress and attended church in Tallahassee.

She is survived by two sons, Michael James Cooke and Russell Eugene Griffin, both of Tallahassee; her mother, Audrey Elene Carter of Bainbridge; a sister, Sharon Marie Harrison of Crawfordville, Fla.; a brother, James Russell Brown Jr. of Tallahassee.

Cox-Ware Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
