Funeral services for Alice Guy, 45, of 1311 Carter St., will be held Sunday, Oct. 19, at 3 p.m., at Ephesus SDA Church located at 1604 Butler Ferry Road with Pastor Michael Ross officiating.

Interment will follow in Pineview Cemetery with friends and family serving as active and honorary pallbearers.

Visitation is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 18, from 3 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Ms. Guy was born in Bainbridge, Ga., and died Friday, Oct. 10, 2008, at Memorial Hospital in Bainbridge.

She was a laborer and a member of St. Luke Freewill Baptist Church.

She is survived by a son, Roddrick Donta Butler of Wichita, Kan.; a daughter, Talisha Denise Butler of Bainbridge; her mother, Mattie Fagg Guy of Bainbridge; six brothers, Charles Allen Guy Jr. of Bremerton, Wash., Gregory Guy Sr., and Edward Wesley Guy Sr., both of Newton, Ga., Andrew Guy Sr. of Bainbridge, Dwayne Guy of Virginia Beach, Va., and Larry Guy Sr. of Colquitt, Ga.; three sisters, Diana Guy Scott of Attapulgus, Ga., Jennifer Guy Footman and Danielle Guy Scott, both of Bainbridge; one grandchild; special loved one, Willie Butler, and other relatives
