End of American dream

Over the past eight weeks, Rep. Sanford Bishop has voted to support federal programs riddled with fraud, waste and/or abuse.
Each week Republicans proposed programs to be cut on the YouCut website. The winner selected by Americans (over 500,000 participated) was brought to the House floor for a vote. Rep. Bishop voted “no” to all the following proposals:
1. Cut the non-reformed welfare program ($25 billion)
2. Eliminate the federal employee pay raise ($30 billion)
3. Reform Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac ($30 billion)
4. Sell excess federal property ($15 billion)
5. Prohibit hiring IRS agents to enforce Obamacare ($15 billion)
6. Prohibit taxpayer subsidized union activities ($1.2 billion)
7. Prohibit roadway signs to advertise stimulus projects ($10 million)
8. Prohibit sleeper car subsidies to Amtrak ($1.2 billion)
The $172.5 billion in savings represented by these eight proposed cuts is “a drop in the bucket” compared to the $13.6 trillion the national debt will become this year.
But Rep. Bishop voted against all these relatively small cuts and continues to vote in lockstep with the Obama-Pelosi-Reid cabal on a runaway spending binge that will bankrupt America unless stopped.
Bishop doesn’t “represent” you; he represents the end of the American dream.
