The children and their leader, Gale Scarborough of Donalsonville Assembly of God, received a national award recently for their missions during 2009. The award was presented by the Rev. Sammy Whaley on May 16 during the church’s homecoming celebration. They were recognized for placing 20th in the nation in their category for giving to Boys and Girls Missionary Challenge, which provides support for missionaries serving all over the world.
