Calista Napier

A funeral service for Calista Martin Napier, 93, of Bainbridge, was held Sunday, May 30, at Southwest Baptist Church with Kevin Ford and Andy Fowler officiating.
Interment followed at Roselawn Memory Gardens with Kevin Ford, Caleb Ford, Andy Fowler, Mark Esquivel, Mark Parker, Frank Williams, Joe Morrison and Buddy Davis serving as active pallbearers.
Born May 11, 1917, in Cedar Springs, Ga., Mrs. Napier died on Friday, May 28, 2010, at Memorial Hospital in Bainbridge.
Mrs. Napier was a graduate of Jakin High School and worked with Cannon’s Cleaners for many years. She was a member of Southwest Baptist Church and the Southwest Georgia Hemerocallis Society.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Caleb R. “Koon” Napier.
Survivors include her son, David Napier of Donalsonville; her daughters, Martha Fowler of Bainbridge and Evelyn Faircloth of Bainbridge; nine grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Ivey Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
