Funeral services for Larry Lee Vickers, 47, of Bainbridge, were held Saturday, May 22, at St. Paul Primitive Baptist Church in Attapulgus with Pastor Adolph Noble Sr. officiating.
Interment followed in Jonas Lobe Cemetery in Bainbridge with Alonzo Brown III, Fernando Bryant, Dan Campbell, TeRandy Evans, Antonio Jones, Michael Turner, Eric Markel Vickers and Terez Vickers serving as active pallbearers.
Born June 17, 1962, in Bainbridge, Mr. Vickers died on May 13, 2010.
Mr. Vickers attended Decatur County public schools. He was employed by Southeastern Minerals of Bainbridge for many years.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Vickers Sr.; and two brothers, Norman Vickers and Terry Vickers.
Survivors include his mother, Valerie Vickers; four children, Terez D. Vickers, Angel L. Vickers, Brittney L. Vickers and Martez M. Vickers; two sisters, Sandra V. Jackson and Sharonda Vickers; five brothers, including his twin, Garry Lee Vickers, Joseph Vickers Jr., Eric Vickers and Ronnie Vickers, all of Bainbridge, and Charles Vickers of Donalsonville, Ga.; a special friend, Sanjonetta Bryant of Blakely, Ga.; a grandson, 10 aunts, three uncles, five nieces, five nephews and a host of cousins and friends.
Guyton Brothers Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
