The Houston County High School Bears, the Bainbridge High School Bearcats Region 1AAAA opponent Friday at 7:30 p.m. at Centennial Field, are led by quarterback Tyler Hall, who has had an outstanding season throwing the football.
His biggest night came Saturday, Oct. 2 against a fellow Region 1AAAA foe, the Lee County High School Trojans.
Trailing the Trojans 35-7 early in the third quarter, Hall brought the Bears back to within three, 45-42 while throwing for over 300 yards.
Hall is second in Region 1AAAA in passing. He has completed 77 of 142 passes for 706 yards with five touchdowns and has averaged 141.2 yards passing a game.

The Bears feature the fifth and sixth top receivers in Region 1AAAA. Travis Hunter is fifth with 21 catches for 179 yards, and an 8.5 yards per reception average.
The Bears’ other good receiver is Taylor Ring, who has 18 catches for 215 yards, an 11.9 yards per reception average and one touchdown.
