• Mount Nebo M.B. Church — The church, located on Lake Douglas Road, will have a Pastor’s Aide Program on Jan. 21 at 4:30 p.m. with the Rev. Brian Lewis in charge.
• Mt. Olive M.B. Church — The church, located at 100 Mt. Olive Road, off Spring Creek Road, will host the DT Production Gospel celebration for Tony Vicks of Tallahassee, Fla., on Jan. 21 from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. Some of the featured groups are: Minister Febe & Chosen One, The Mighty Peacemakers, The McGriff Sisters, Butler Sisters, The Sons of Calvary, God’s Anointed, Spiritual Voices, The Amazing Harmony 4 and Karen Washington.
• Jacob Chapel Baptist Church — The church, located at 2333 Lake Bradford Road in Tallahassee, Fla., will celebrate the sixth pastoral anniversary of Rev. O. Jermaine Simmons, on Sunday, Jan. 22. There will be three services beginning at 7:30 a.m., 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. Rev. Simmons is the son of Dr. Perry Simmons Jr. and Elaine Griffin Simmons.
• Trinity Baptist Church — The church, located at 1865 Tallahassee Highway in Bainbridge, invites all to the special service on Sunday, Jan. 22, at 10:45 a.m., featuring music presented by the Pensacola Christian College Proclaim Ministry Team.
• Mt. Olive M.B. Church — The church, located at 100 Mt. Olive Road, West Bainbridge, will observe Family and Friends Day on Jan. 22, at 11 a.m. The Gospel Choralettes will render the song service.
• Second Elizabeth M.B. Church — The church, located at 2718 Attapulgus Hwy. Quincy, Fla., will host its annual Deacon and Deaconess Day on Sunday, Jan. 22, at 11 a.m. with Minister Matthew Faulk and the Poplar Springs congregation of Whigham, Ga.
• Bethlehem Freewill Baptist Church — The church, located at 1810 S. West St., will have Family and Friends Day on Jan. 22 at 11:15 a.m. Music will be by the Antioch Missionary Choir. Dinner will be served.
• Immanuel Baptist Church — The church, located on U.S. Highway 84 West, will host the Lighthouse Children’s Home choir on Sunday, Jan. 29, at 11 a.m. A covered dish meal will be served after the morning worship.
• First Christian Church — The church, located at 908 S. Scott St., will hold a Fifth Sunday Sing on Jan. 29, beginning at 6 p.m. Everyone is invited to come hear The Parish Family bring the Gospel in song.
• Harvest America & Beyond Ministries — The church, located at 1610 Old Quincy Road, will host the Women of Purpose Conference on Feb. 3 and 4. The theme will be “Women Walking in Kingdom Authority.” Hours are 7 p.m. on Feb. 3 and 10 a.m., noon and 1:30 p.m. on Feb. 4. Speakers will be Stephanie Chason of Bainbridge and Robin Shockley of Greenville, S.C.
• Liberty in Jesus Christian Center — The church, located at 1108 Butler Ferry Road, will host the Holy Convocation 2012 of Hidden Treasures Apostolic Alliance on March 7-11 at 7 p.m. nightly. Featured participants will be Apostle Sharon Seay Eiland of Nashville, Tenn., Apostle Curley Walthour, Apostle Erica B. Jackson, Overseer Sonya Norris, Overseer William Bullard, Pastor Gairreus Williams and Minister Terrance Pinkney.
