Make plans to join us on Monday, Feb. 13, at 4:30 p.m. at the Decatur County-Gilbert H. Gragg Library for “Bee My Valentine!”

During this program, we will read Valentine’s Day stories, play Valentine’s Day games, and make a Valentine’s Day craft. This program is recommended for ages 5 to 9. Please call the Decatur County-Gilbert H. Gragg Library at (229) 248-2665 for more information.

Need tax info?

It’s tax time once again! Be prepared for tax season with assistance from the Decatur County-Gilbert H. Gragg Library. The library has both federal and state tax forms available.

If you need your taxes prepared, visit the library on the first Saturday of March and April from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., or on Thursday afternoons, for free tax preparation and e-file provided by the Decatur County Family Connection Collaborative.

This service is designed for families with incomes of less than $50,000 per year. In order to receive the free tax preparation and e-file, please bring the following documents with you: all W-2s and 1099s (if any), Social Security cards or Taxpayer Identification (ITIN) numbers for all family members, copy of 2010 tax return if available, valid photo identification, and a bank account and routing number (if choosing to direct deposit your refund).
