Miss Ragan and Mr. Shaver to wed

ENGAGED: Katherine Lee Ragan and Kyle Robert Shaver

Mr. and Mrs. Rick Ragan of Bainbridge announce the engagement of their daughter, Katherine Lee Ragan, to Kyle Robert Shaver, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Shaver of Thomasville, Ga.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. Palmer Rich of Bainbridge and the late Sibyl Rich, and of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Ragan of Bainbridge.

Miss Ragan graduated from Bainbridge High School in 2005 and is a graduate of the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science in Sport and Exercise Science and a Master of Science in Kinesiology. She is pursuing a career in corporate wellness and cardiac rehabilitation.

The groom-to-be is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Jones of Milan, Ga., and of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Shaver of Brooklet, Ga., and the late Ann Shaver.

Mr. Shaver graduated from Thomas County Central High School in 2006, then graduated from Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Business Management. He is employed as a benefits specialist with Flowers Foods.

The wedding is planned for March 31 at 6 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Bainbridge. A reception will follow at Southwind Plantation. Friends and relatives are invited to attend.
