BassCats heading to National Championship

The Bainbridge BassCats are on the hunt for the Big One.
After a fifth place finish in the Georgia High School State Championship, Bainbridge anglers Blake Daughtry and Hudson Barber will compete in the Bassmaster High School National Championship on Kentucky Lake on Aug. 2-4.
Daughtry and Barber reeled in a five fish limit on both days of the state championship. On Day 1, the Bainbridge boys weighed in at 15.24 pounds, with a big fish recorded at 5.96 pounds. On Day 2, they added 16.25 pounds for a total weigh-in of 31.49.
Coming in 17th place at state was the BassCats team of Cuyler Duke and Bryson Arthur with 26.61 pounds, and right behind them in 18th place was Caleb Reynolds and Lex Thompson with 26 pounds.
Gabe Dunaway and Chase Harrell reeled in 19.83 pounds for 39th place and Garyn King and Carter Skipper weighed in at 17.89 pounds for 45th place. Coming in at 64th place was Jackson Conley and Stokes Moore with 14.08 pounds, and at 81st place was Zack Griffin and Gunner Thomas with 9.25 pounds.
In 101st was Basscats Aiden Matthews and Ashton Matthews with 3.03 pounds.
