Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

Last Monday, Bainbridge Decatur County Humane Society asked the Facebook Bainbridge community in helping to find a name for the new pet mobile the Humane Society is fixing.

The Pet Mobile is a way to help animals find their forever homes. It’s a way to “Help the Helpless” by promoting the animals, sharing adoption information and community events. President Dennie Nicholas, Treasurer Jenny Herring,  Board Members Richard King and Tiffany Singleton, and Humane Society Coordinator Cody Singleton, Tiffany’s husband, are the members currently working on the project. Also, Nikki Rich, a graphic designer, will design the look for the Pet Mobile. “We are just getting started! We did purchase the trailer a little while ago, but now we are ready to jump in and focus on getting the project completed.” She continued, “The community support and encouragement that we receive is extremely important in our mission.”

The Pet Mobile name is yet to be determined due to 47 different options of names collected. The Board members will decide the final name along with updates on the “fixer-upper” journey. They will be eager to share the news of their Pet Mobile name and journey on their Facebook page at Bainbridge Decatur County Humane Society. Also, stop in and view the adorable animals at 808 Zorn Road or their website at https://www.bainbridgehumanesociety.com/.
